As we bid LeVerne Dedrick farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For LeVerne Dedrick is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester L. Edwards Sr. and Ruby Phelps Edwards; his brothers, Lester L. Edwards Jr. and Max T. Edwards; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Phelps Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Harwood; his uncle Verne; his sister-in-law Debby Harwood Blackburn (Earl) of Elkin, NC; and his nephew Billy Edwards of Hinesville. He is also survived by three grand-nieces, two grand nephews and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Samaritan's Purse.
