She was predeceased by: her husband Leon R. Teachey, Sr.; her parents, George Frances and Bertha Elneda Tharp Ganey; her granddaughter Courtney Varner; and her siblings, Carlton, George Ganey, Jr. and Lois G. Adams.
She is survived by: her sons, Leon Ronald Teachey, Jr. of Wilmington, Gary Teachey (Amy) of Leland and Kevin Teachey (Jennifer) of Scotland; and her grandchildren, Cayla, Ryan and Quinn Teachey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Valley Church of God (3810 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
