She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles V. Busick and Ada Brown Busick; her husband Carl Maurice Peeples; and her siblings, Gladys Outen, Pattyree Smithey, Lucille "Coonie" Zimmerman, Verlin Busick and Harold Busick.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet P. Faucette (Whitfield) of Browns Summit; and her granddaughter Stephanie Faucette of Chapel Hill.
Due to COVID-19, the family request that masks be worn and social distancing practiced at the service.
