She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hawkins and Pearl Hawkins; and her siblings, Ott Hawkins, Opal Johnson and Billie Underwood.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Powell; her daughter Traci Powell; and her sister Carolyn Sue Murray. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hope River Church (4355 High Rock Rd, Gibsonville, NC 27249).
