Peggy Brown McCandless Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Brown McCandless (Browns Summit, North Carolina), who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown and Callie Brown; her husband Howard McCandless, Jr.; her grandson Matthew Lunsford; and her sister Barbara Purgason.
She is survived by: her children, Bob McCandless, Brenda Oakley (Tommy) of Alamance County, Kenny McCandless, Annette Lunsford (Clarence) of McLeansville, Kathy Lineberry (Russell) of Gibsonville, Mike McCandless of Browns Summit and Michael Douglas (Susan) of Climax; and her siblings, Becky Carroll, Dean Haithcock, Doris Brown, Minnie Lunsford and Larry Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601, in her honor.
