With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Magnus O'Brien of Browns Summit, North Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marshall O'Brien and Mary Newman O'Brien; and his wife Estelle Weadon O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Margaret O'Brien Overbey (Bobby) and Jimmy O'Brien (Sonya); his nephew Billie W. McFayden (Pat); his grandchildren, Jarred O'Brien (Sarah), Christina O'Brien and Brenton O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Travis Causey Jr., Shyanne Causey and MaryJane O'Brien; and his grandchildren, Morgan McCoy and Billy McCoy.
