He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Johanna Ruth Hale and Avery Grace Lambert; his grandparents, Ralph Shelton, Walter Lambert and Delphine Matthews; and his father-in-law Donald Nipper.

He is survived by: his wife Vicky Lambert; his children, Michelle Garza, Tiffany Hale (Matthew), Ryan Lambert (Laken) and Ethan Lambert (Jessica); his parents, Pastor Jess and Donna Lambert; his grandchildren, Noah Bates, Emma Bates, Samantha Bates, Judah Hale, Jonas Hale, Karsyn Lambert, Josephine Hale and Jayne Harper Hale; his siblings, Christopher Lambert (Casey) and Tracy Horn (Jamie); his grandmother Alta Marie Shelton; and his mother-in-law Bonnie Nipper.
