It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Gordon Smith of Browns Summit, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John U. Underwood and Myrtle Seawell Underwood. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gordon of Browns Summit and Joyce Pepper (Roy) of Browns Summit; her stepdaughter Louise Vaughn of McLeansville; her granddaughter Leslie Pepper (Kasey); and her stepgrandchildren, Julia and Greg Vaughn.
