He is survived by: his children, James Michael McArthur of Broadway, NC, Robert Vernon McArthur (Yvonne) of Broadway, NC. and Phyllis Ann McArthur Pearson of Zebulon, NC.; his brother Rexford McArthur of Broadway, NC.; and his grandchildren, Erica Ammons (James) of Nevada, Johnnie Andrew Pearson (Amy) of Alabama and Cindy Burton (Chris) of Moncure, NC..
