Ross Buchanan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2021, at the age of 84, Ross Buchanan of Broadway, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ross Buchanan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Buchanan and Shirley M. Buchanan; his wife Frances Dickens Buchanan; his brothers, Billy (Annaberyl), James and Johnny; and his brothers-in-law, Lincoln Neal and Jim Revill.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Hartsell (Vic), Anne Hockett (Herschel), Hope Buchanan and Keith Buchanan; his grandchildren, Victor Hartsell, Kathryn Johnson, Meredith Hardister, Benjamin Hockett, Andrew Hockett and Abby Buchanan; his great grandchildren, Harper Hardister, Knox Johnson, Presley Johnson, Brody Hockett and Isaiah Hardister; and his sisters, Nell Neal and Linda Revill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the HSBC Friendship class for use in its shut-in outreach would be appreciated by the family, as Ross always looked forward to their calls and cards.
