She was predeceased by: her parent Nead Thomas; her husband Johnnie Cleveland Patterson; her children, Johnsie Lee Patterson and Lee Mar Patterson; and her siblings, Remus Thomas, Alvin "Cat" Thomas, Doc Thomas, Ralph "Shine" Thomas and Lillie Thomas Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her parent Ronie Lett Thomas; her son Norman J. Patterson (Becky) of Broadway; her granddaughters, Norma P. O'Quinn (David) of Lillington and Amy P. Wilson of Broadway; her great grandchildren, Lisa, Daniel, Laura, Lacy O'Quinn and Luke Wilson; and also, Roger Tankersley and Phyllis Tankersley of Angier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
