It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Manuel Garrett of Broadway, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Hocutt Garrett and Grace Cheek Garrett; and his son Mike Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth O'Quinn Garrett (Libby); and his children, Steve Garrett, Michelle Spencer (William), Colleen Brueck (John) and Tammy Lawson (Ricky). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
