She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Whalen Wester; her grandson Zachary Womack; and her sister Debra Norris. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Strickland (Carlene) of Whiteville, N. C., Connie Willis of Broadway, N. C., Vickie Reynolds (Randy) of Colorado, Tammy Bastress (Rodney) of Broadway, N. C., Shelia Wester and Angela Thomas (James Pate) of Sanford, N. C.; and her sister Linda Scott of Broadway. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
