It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ora Clayton (Broadway, North Carolina), who passed away on March 16, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ora Clayton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henderson Brown and Nettie Loveday Holder Brown; her husband Carl Edward Clayton; her granddaughter Cindy Fulton; and her siblings, Ferrel, Eustace, Edmund, Royce, Jim, Jean and Delsie.

She is survived by: her children, Glenda Clayton Patterson of Broadway, Diane Clayton Hunter (Johnny), Lois Weatherhogg of Lemon Springs, Karen Clayton of Lillington, Carl Clayton, Jr. (Jackie) of Broadway and Marshal Clayton (Robin) of Mamers; and her siblings, Mona McNeill (Clarence Cordavent) of Sanford and Jerry Brown (Linda) of Oregon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 525, Mamers, NC 27552.
