Nell McFarland Fields Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell McFarland Fields of Broadway, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Worth McFarland and Ethel McNeill McFarland; and her siblings, Oscar McFarland and Mary Ann McFarland Buchanan. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Fields; her daughters, Tiffeny Rose Fields of Laurinburg, NC and Bethany Fields Alsobrook (Bill) of Broadway, NC; her brother Tim McFarland (Lynn) of Sanford, NC; her granddaughter Kimberley Alsobrook of Texas; and her niece Ethel Mae Zabel of Broadway, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (201 1st St, Broadway, NC 27505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church (2300 Mt Pisgah Church Rd, Broadway, NC 27505).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations made to Lustgarten Foundation (Lustgarten.org).
