She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Howard of Washington and Stella Buchanan Howard; her stepmother Wilma Dot Howard; and her siblings, Tillman Howard, James Robert Howard and Laverne Seagroves.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Patterson; her daughters, Michelle Patterson Anderson (Eric) of Chattanooga, TN and Jamie Patterson Watson (Kevin) of Weaverville, NC.; her granddaughter Nadia Elise Watson of Weaverville, NC.; her sisters, Mary Sue Cameron (Rodney) of Sanford, NC. and Melba McNeill (Sammy) of Broadway, NC; and her sister-in-law Clara Howard of Sanford, NC..
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
