She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelly V. Godwin and Fannie Cameron Godwin; her husband Thomas Harrington; and her siblings, Magdalene Godwin, Jean Godwin, Mae Proctor, Paul Godwin, Melvin and H. D. Godwin.
She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Smith of Broadway; her sister Catherine Coley (Glenn) of Sanford; her granddaughter Chana English (Wayne) of Fayetteville; and her great grandchildren, Novalee English of Fayetteville, Amariah English of Fayetteville, Hadassah English of Fayetteville, Jeremiah "Eli" English of Fayetteville and Orelia English of Fayetteville. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
