He is survived by: his aunt Jean Elizabeth McNeill Bates of San Diego, CA; and his cousins, Cynthia "Lisa" Wall (Michael) of Pine Bluff, NC, Arthur "Ernest" Bates of Lillington, NC, Lester Bates of Lillington, NC, Juanita Sparks (Anthony) of Sanford, NC and Annette Kennedy of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.
