It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Mason Upchurch of Broadway, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Clarendon and Hassie Brown Mason; her siblings, Robert Reynolds Mason, Alva Lee Thomas and Janie Mason Seagroves; her niece Allison Smith; and her nephew Keith Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Bennie Upchurch; her sons, Al Upchurch (Brenda) of Broadway and Jason Upchurch of Lillington; her grandson Taylor Upchurch of Lillington; her great grandchildren, Mia Gray, Natalie Mae and Sofia Tae Upchurch; her sisters, Faye Upchurch (Durward) of Lillington and Libby Mason of Mamers; and her niece Angie Upchurch Jordan of Lillington.
