It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Parker of Broadway, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Odom and Idella Piner Odom; her husband Rev. Clifton Harvey; and her siblings, George Robert Odom, Henry Odom, Maggie Gangloff, Johnny Odom, Tom Odom and Mary Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Clifton Parker of West Virginia, Charles Thomas Parker (Sandra) of Raleigh, NC, Kenneth Harold Parker (Anne) of Sanford, NC, Rebecca Parker Daurity of Rolesville, NC, Danny Stephen Parker (Sue) of Sanford, NC, Marcus Andrew Parker of Broadway, NC and Ivan Ray Parker (Teresa) of Mt. Juliet, TN; and her sister Frances Payne of Bolton, NC. She is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
