He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie C. Thomas and Roena Cox Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Lorace Jones Thomas; his children, John Matthew Thomas of Broadway and Stephanie Thomas Green of Sanford; and his sister Sandra Thomas Shope of Sanford.
