He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson James Womack and Carrine Thomas Womack; his siblings, Danny Ray Womack and Shirley Davis; and his wife Eunice Rosser Womack.
He is survived by: his son James Hubert Womack of Broadway, NC; his grandchildren, James Rosser Womack (Mattie) and Jeriann Calean Womack (Curtis) of Broadway, NC; his niece Debbie Griffin; and his nephews, Reggie Davis and Robert Davis (Tedi).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (201 1st St, Broadway, NC 27505). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Broadway Town Cemetery (103 N Main St, Broadway, NC 27505).
