He is survived by: his wife Sumiko N. Lawrence; his children, Barry Lawrence (Lynette) of Spring Lake and Tammy Genthe (Wade) of Broadway, NC; and his sisters, Lawana Slayton of Danville, VA, Joyce Earp (Joe) of Keeling, VA, Betty Rea of Martinsville, VA and Judy Snow (Bill) of Danville, VA.
