She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherad Wesley Patterson and Mae Priscilla Gilchrist Patterson; her husband J. Floyd Thomas; her son Tommy Thomas; her granddaughter Kimberly Renee Thomas; and her siblings, Troy Patterson, Hildreth Dull, Verla Parsons, Alberta Dull and Bea Wilkie.
She is survived by: her children, Susan T. Thomas (David) of Broadway, NC., Ronnie Thomas (Kay) and Steve Thomas of Broadway, NC.; her daughter-in-law Judy D. Thomas of Sanford, NC.; her grandchildren, Ron Thomas, Wes Thomas, Chad Thomas, Caleb Thomas, Mary Ashlyn Thomas and Caleigh Thomas; and her stepgrandson Andy Holland. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, and three step great-great-grandchildren.
