He was predeceased by: his friend Charles Patterson; and his in-laws, Bryant and Frances Upchurch. He is survived by: his mother Sue Logan Patterson (Gail Upchurch Patterson) of Broadway; his children, John Wicker (Nicki), Brenda Patterson Holder of Broadway, Bryan Wicker (Kimberly) of Creedmoor and Jamie Patterson Swider (Kevin) of Cornelius; and his brother Michael Dellinger (Pam) of Robbins. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many friends and family.
