With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda McDonald of Broadway, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2021 at the age of 32. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Betty Lawrence, Willie Lawrence and Betty Williams; her aunt Rosie Baldwin; and her uncle Jerry "Chubby" Sparks.
She is survived by: her parents, Danny Williams of Raleigh and Tammy Carpenter of Hickory; her husband John McDonald; her siblings, Crystal "Sissy" of Hickory and Quincy of Hickory; her aunt Tina Alexander of Raleigh; her uncles, Charles Williams of Raleigh, James Williams of Raleigh, Raymond Williams of Raleigh and Keith Carpenter; and her brothers-in-law, Kevin McDonald (Patty) and James McDonald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and her large extended family.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
