We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 93, Opal Gibble of Bridgeton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Gibble; and her sister Joyce Rachid. She is survived by: her children, James M. "Sparky" Jones, Jr. (Cherrie) of Beaufort, SC, Sadie Arlene Wornstaff of Darlington, SC and Joyce E. Hatfield (Thomas) of Dryden, NY; her siblings, Jack Hancock of Merritt and Jeweldean Hancock James of New Bern; her grandchildren, John Lee Elliott, Zingaro Leach, Rolando Lock, Amanda Tanaka, Ashley Hatfield, Jeremy Jones and Katie Sasser; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Travis Jones, Logan Joshua Leach, Brian James Tanaka, Aiko Joy Tanaka, Chase Jordan Tanaka and Akina Joy Tanaka.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bridgeton Christian Church.
