It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Brittain (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Wilburn Brittain; and his siblings, Lucinda Gail Brittain Mullinax, Tommy Wilburn Brittain and Randall Brittain. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Ellen Holden Brittain; his wife Lisa Breeden Brittain; his children, Samantha Renee Buie (Chris) of Marion, NC, David Jeffrey Stamey of Brevard and Jennifer Lashay Stamey of Brevard; his grandchildren, Destiny of Kaitlin, Abby and Hailee; and his siblings, Robert Lee "Bobby" Brittain (Nancy) of Brevard, Susan Denise Brittain Byers (John) of Brevard and Brittain Powell (Todd) of Brevard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
