It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Alcorn (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on March 12, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Neil and John Alcorn. He is survived by: his wife Karen Zefting Alcorn; and his siblings, Donald E. Alcorn of Montgomery, Alabama and Lou Alcorn Shelley (Michael) of Brevard. He is also survived by four nephews, one niece and several great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Scholarship Fund of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church, 300 East Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
