He was predeceased by: his parents, Vess Galloway, Sr. and Margaret Louise Aiken Galloway; and his siblings, Mildred Chapman of Rosman, Susie Pressley of Gaston County, Shirley Masters of Washington, Jenny Pennington, Randy Galloway of Mt. Holly, NC and Bill Galloway of Mt. Holly.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Fay Cornelius Galloway; his son Rev. Benson Galloway, Sr. (Teresa) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Benson, Galloway, Jr. (Tiffany) of Rosman and Benesa Rhymer (Bruce) of Tryon; his great grandchildren, LilliAnna Rhymer, Liam Rhymer, Landon Rhymer and Clate Galloway; and his sisters, Helen Pressley of Brevard and Betty Jean Lance of Easley, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
