She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nelson Jones and Beulah Owen Jones; her husband Lewis M. Hawkins; her son Charles Nelson Hawkins; her brothers, Carroll Jones and Lionel Jones; her grandson Shane Nelson; and also Denise Hawkins.
She is survived by: her sisters, Olivene Lyday of Brevard and Anna Owen of Pisgah Forest; and her sisters-in-law, Frances Jones of Pisgah Forest and Doris Jones of Pisgah Forest.
