He was predeceased by: his parents, James Meachum and Betty Jo Meachum; and his brothers, Ashley and Ron Meachum. He is survived by: his son Tyler; his wife Ellen Meachum; his son Spencer Meachum; his daughter-in-law Mariah; his granddaughter Lorraine Meachum; his brother Barry Meachum; and his nieces and nephews, Drake, Cindy Davis, Nate Whited, Noah, Abbey, Mandy, Chance Meachum, Stevie, Skylar, Carson, Catherine Adams, Mia and Nina Gilmore.
In his memory, donations can be made to his memorial fund, which will be used to support the Brevard community.
