Susie left this world on July 24, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Austin Powell and Ressie Whitmire Powell; and her sister Jane Reese (Joyce Reese). She is survived by: her son Gregory Reese (Denise); her sisters, Betty Landreth and Rita Whitlock (Mark); and her grandchildren, Hunter Reese (Candace), Hannah Reeves (Israel) and Harper Reese. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
