He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Jo Duckworth (Sidney) and Clyde Rice Sr.; and his grandparents, Rad, Rosa Bryson, Walter and Ida Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Bright Rice; his daughters, Stephanie Pursley (Brock) and Kelly Hooper (TJ); his brothers, Mike and Clyde Jr.; his nephew Brad Rice; and his grandchildren, Brynn, Blair Pursley, Braulin and Kaelyn Hooper.
