She is survived by: her son Donald Whitmire (Sheila) of Waynesville; her grandsons, Chad Whitmire (Britney) of Holly Springs, N. C. and Derek Whitmire (Ashley) of Simpsonville, S. C.; and her great grandchildren, Payton, Cooper, Kinsley and Maeve. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
