He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Huggins and Rose McCall Huggins; his wife Cleo; and his siblings, Van Huggins Jr. and Pat Owen.
He is survived by: his son James "Ernest" Huggins (Diane); his grandchildren, Christy Bryson (Jeremy) and James Huggins (Kendra); his siblings, Ronald Huggins (Renolga) of Lake Toxaway, Gary Huggins (Rhonda) of Lake Toxaway and Rosalie Passmore (Tommy) of Hendersonville; and his great grandchildren, Trista, Carter, Parker, Charlie, Alana and Beckett.
