Ruby Elizabeth Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Elizabeth Smith (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jackson Alexander Gillespie. She is survived by: her husband Danny Keith Smith of Brevard; her daughters, Ashley Cooper (Ricky Lawrence) and Abbey Fueger (Patrick); her grandchildren, Madeline, Owen Cooper, Henry, Brooks and Cynthia Fueger; and her siblings, Jackie Owen (Lloyd) and Bill Gillespie (Brenda). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made in Ruby's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in order to support clinical research to cure Parkinson's disease.
