He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Merrill and Margaret Dotson Merrill; and his siblings, Jeanette Owen and Charles Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Merrill; his children, Nikki Merrill, Bud Stone and Shane Merrill; his grandchildren, Tinley Merrill, Shane Merrill, Jr. (Ieshia), Cody Merrill (Tami) and Courtney Merrill; his great grandchildren, Ariana Merrill and Adeleigh Merrill; his brothers, Gene Merrill (Bobby) and Tom Merrill (Betty); and his brother-in-law Herman Owen (Anita Latham). He is also survived by his family: going coon hunting with his sons and friends.
