He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Ward and Lillian Ward of Greensboro, NC.; his wife Margaret T. Ward of Greensboro; his stepdaughter Vickie Ward Lepore; his brother Thomas Ward; his nieces, Anne Ward McGee and Melody Ward Vileno; his granddaughter Brena Lepore; and his great grandchildren, Isla and Benjamin.
