It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Summerhays (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Summerhays and Harold Summerhays; and his sister Shari. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Robert Summerhays, Jr. (Tracy) and Barbara (Randy Palmer); and his granddaughters, Sharon, Bethany, Nicole and Andrea. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
