He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Odell Holcomb and Tilda Butler Holcomb; his wife Margie Galloway Holcomb; his son Kenneth Holcomb; and his siblings, Polly Chappell, Doris Ramsey, Barbara Pitawankawat, Georgia Anders and Odell Holcomb.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Holcomb of Brevard and Glenda Lance (Jeff) of Brevard; his sister Martha Aiken of Rosman; and his grandchildren, Cole Holcomb of Rosman, Christopher Holcomb of Rosman, Aaron Holcomb of Rosman, Chesnea Lance of Arden, Kari Clampitt (Shane) of Waynesville, Jillian Treglown (Branton) of Augusta, GA and Will Lance of Brevard. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
