He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Patterson; his grandparents, William Perry Grant and Katie Meadows Grant; and his siblings, Doris Grant Gibson, Kenneth Grant, Bruce Grant and Terrell Grant.
He is survived by: his son Brian K. Grant (Brian R. Tesar) of Durham, NC; and his siblings, D. Edwina Grant, Max Grant (Louise), Catherine Grant Greene (Gerald) of Mills River and Martha Grant Hamlin of Warner Robins, GA.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
