He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Hosea Sorrells and Sarah Elizabeth Evans Sorrells; his wife Mabel C. Sorrells; his siblings, J. T., Clyde, Fred, John, Earl Sorrells, Marenda Holden and Mazie Spafford; and his stepbrother Howard Mooney.
He is survived by: his brother James A. Sorrells.
