It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randall Moretz (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Howard Moretz and Lois Cook Moretz; his sister Cheryl Moretz Kitchen; and his nephew Bronson David Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Christy Reid (Jamie) of Alabama, Lisa Rogers (Jayson) of Brevard, Ashley Lavery (Tim) of Brevard and Randy Moretz (Shasta) of Brevard; his siblings, Renee Shepherd of Brevard and Brent Moretz (Vickie) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Kayla Burton, Hannah Burton (Mike), Madison Jackson (Aaron), Randy Moretz III, Emma Moretz, Ava Rogers, J. T. Rogers, Jaxin Shelton, Cody Nate Shelton, Jacob and Onalee Lavery; his great grandchildren, Brynley Lavery and Xander Jackson; and his nephew Adam Kitchen (Crystal).
