She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Louise Rudolph Vallone and Edward Joseph Vallone; and her husband Dan. She is survived by: her friends, Mary Katherine Blunt (Peter Krieg), Jonah Blunt, Sophia Blunt and Aiden Stonebarger; her children, Steve Blunt (Sheila) of Nashua, NH, Dana Blunt-Bixby (Todd) of Greencastle, PA and Brad Blunt (Marla Sanders) of Houston, TX.; and her cousin Barbara Kuhn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Following Dan's death in 2016, throughout the pandemic, and during her more recent health struggles, so many members of the Brevard community cared for and assisted Phyllis in myriad ways.
