He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Willie Mae Owen; and his sister Laverne Owens. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Shannon Owen (Kim) and Shawnee Owenby (Stewart); his grandchildren, Lauren Ashe (Jalen), Seth Owen (Mackenzie), Kayla Summey and Alexis Owenby; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Adaleigh, Gracie, Colter, Owen and Eleanor; and his siblings, Shirley Roper and Jimmy Owen (Carol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
