With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Owen of Brevard, North Carolina, born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Turbyfill and Alice Bowen Turbyfill; her brother Ernest Turbyfill; and her son-in-law Mike McGee. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Owen; her children, Angie McGee of Brevard and Brandon Owen (Brooke) of Charlotte; her granddaughters, Megan McGee Hoots (Justin) of Hendersonville and Lauren McGee; her great grandchildren, Finnley and Owen Hoots; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Galloway (Ben), Barbara Whitmire, Marcella Pope, Lucille Gillespie (Roger) and Nancy Crane (Robert).
