It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Tinsley of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Myers and Lucy Dowdle Myers; her husband S. Gene Tinsley; and her siblings, Billy Myers and Mary Sue Myers Baldwin.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael G Tinsley (Kathy) of Brevard, NC and Eric Tinsley (Priscilla) of Pisgah Forest, NC; her grandchildren, John Tinsley (Allison), Kaitlyn Tinsley Laughter (Josh) and Alex Tinsley (Catherine); and her brother Eugene Myers of Missouri. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
