She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Lawson and Jessie Lawter Bishop; her husband George W. Wheeler, Jr.; her son George Michael; and her brother Bobby Dean Bishop.
She is survived by: her son David W. Wheeler of Hendersonville; her grandson Ryan W. Wheeler (Ashley) of Brevard; her great grandchildren, David, John and George; her sisters-in-law, Bette W. Mulley of Texas and Martha Belle W. Fray of Arizona; and her nieces, Marinda Parris (Tommy) of Brevard and Deanna Medford of Brevard.
