She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Guiseppe Curto and Leila Lola Sexton; her husband Ronald Whitmire; and her siblings, Henry Curto, Edward Curto, Josephine Curto, Jane Haskett, Kathleen Davis, Carmen Brown and Patty Lovell.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick T. Caldwell II (Cristie) of Aiken, S. C. and Joseph Bradley Caldwell (Katy Weisensee) of Pickens, S. C.; and her granddaughters, Ansley Caldwell, Ellie Caldwell and Lily Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Rosman Fire and Rescue and Brevard Fire Department.
